Pendulette case

"Persée, the first timepiece from Maison Alcée, is a table clock where you assemble everything (including the mechanical movement).

It is delivered in a box containing a book on the border between a collection of watchmaking know-how and a work of art, 233 components crafted by and for Maison Alcée, more than 95% of which are in the Franco-Swiss Jura Arc, as well as the professional tools necessary for assembling the timepiece, some of which have been specially adapted to facilitate its use by the uninitiated. The whole has been developed with a watchmaking team made up of a Meilleur Ouvrier de France to rely on excellent craftsmanship, teachers for the educational dimension and a designer to breathe new life into the clock of yesteryear” Presented in a custom-made case, all the components of your Persée clock will be perfectly protected to reach you. In order to offer you a unique experience, we pay particular attention to the preparation of your boxes. Every detail has been thought out with the greatest care.
Maison Alcée's watchmaking tools

All the professional tools needed to assemble the timepiece are included in your case.

Some have been specially adapted to make them easier to use by the uninitiated.

  • 4 watch screwdrivers
  • A brass tweezer
  • A watchmaker’s magnifying glass
  • An oil spike
  • An oil cruet and its oil
  • Finger cots for work
  • Microfiber fabric
  • A membrane box

The regulator is “suspended” between two elastic films in a so-called “membrane” box. These cases are commonly used in watchmaking to protect fragile and impact-sensitive components.
The technology has been patented.

Maison Alcée watchmaking booklet

Explore the captivating world of watchmaking through this collection that will guide you through each step of the assembly process while passing on watchmaking know-how.

“It’s a beautiful book of a hundred pages to immerse yourself in, not a simple notice. It is an integral part of our boxes, which in all cases require you to take a break, to take the time to refocus on an activity that requires a certain amount of concentration.”

“I loved everything about this project: from the original design that allowed us to have two clocks in one, to Maison Alcée’s ambition to introduce people to this profession that is so close to my heart.”

Thierry Ducret, one of the Best Craftsmen of France in watchmaking and partner of Maison Alcée

Gong and hammer for the striking of the hours Pendulette

The striking of the hours is an addition that brings value to the movement.

In watchmaking, this is called a horological complication.

  • 17 components ranging from hammer blade to lacquered bell.
  • A Buzzer Rings Every Hour
  • The ringtone can be activated and deactivated

Once opened and installed, the "watchmaker's workbench box" becomes a raised assembly workbench, similar to the professional watchmaker's workspace.

With its armrests and receptacles. Maison Alcée’s watchmaking workbench enhances your assembly space. Its armrests prevent arm fatigue, a great enemy of the watchmaker. Available as an option.
