Formerly a coaching inn on the road to Reims, a sacred place for the Kings of France from Clovis, the Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa was one of the favourite stops of Napoleon and his generals.
A few centuries later, the stage has lost none of its charm.
The memory of this emperor is omnipresent in this prestigious hotel.

A first meeting in October 2022, then a second in December and a third in January.
Our House was delighted that the project was being built to finally come to life in March 2023.
The Maison’s ambition: to offer Royal Champagne guests a getaway into the mysterious world of Time in a beautiful and educational way.
A moment suspended out of time and captivating exchanges between enthusiasts and amateurs.
A workshop at the heart of time
On Thursday, March 16, 2023, a first workshop was held in this exceptional place that is the Royal Champagne.
From the history of Maison Alcée to the discovery of this profession of a thousand tools, each participant was able to put themselves in the shoes of the watchmaker and take part in the assembly of the Persée clock.
An intimate and warm moment.
Watchmaking is a craft that holds a very special place, even within other professions of excellence.
It is a practice that induces an almost philosophical approach to the fascinating concept of Time and which requires a degree of scientific understanding that is unusual among other so-called manual professions.
What an honour it is to be able to transmit the beauty of watchmaking know-how to curious people who do not make it their profession, which is why watchmaking transmission is at the heart of Maison Alcée.
