Maison Alcée at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève
The Persée Azur clock nominated for the GPHG
Maison Alcée is very pleased to announce its pre-selection for the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève, the GPHG.
The Persée Azur clock was nominated in the “mechanical clock” category.
Perseus is not a simple clock because it commits you in space and time to transmit knowledge, that of a mountainous territory inhabited by the Franco-Swiss Jurassian.
By assembling your own Perseus clock, you will discover a centuries-old know-how by giving life to the invisible, Time.
It is certainly this approach that has caught the attention of the GPHG Academy.
A way of transmitting know-how, a sense of beauty and a taste for patience.
Watchmaking know-how in the spotlight at the GPHG
To assemble the Persée clock, you will receive a solid wood box made up of 233 components, 17 watchmaking tools and a beautiful 150-page book to accompany you in the assembly of your Persée clock while passing on to you a part of the watchmaking history.
Created with a team of experts, watchmaking professors and a Swiss designer, this unique experience will allow you to slip into the shoes of the watchmaker.
The Perseus clock consists of the hour, minute, second and a striking mechanism at the passage of the hours, and has a power reserve of two weeks.
Its movement has been developed so that it can come to life in the hands of all neophytes.
More than 95% of its production is carried out in the Franco-Swiss Jura Arc.
The winners will be unveiled on November 9 at the Théâtre du Léman in Geneva.
