Privacy Policy

The General Data Protection Regulation is a set of laws put in place by the European Commission on May 25, 2018 for all companies operating in Europe.
At Maison Alcée, we are therefore concerned!

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN IN CONCRETE TERMS?

To protect Internet users from data leaks or misuse of personal data, it is now mandatory for companies to keep visitors informed of all computer processing that is carried out from the data collected.
At Maison Alcée, the collection of this data is limited to what is strictly necessary and aims to ensure the smooth running of your order and the various services we offer.

We have nothing to hide, we want to be as transparent as possible, so we will tell you everything!

DOES MAISON ALCEE SELL MY PERSONAL DATA?

Some companies exchange customer files to do commercial prospecting, but you should know that at Maison Alcée this is not and will never be the case.
All the data we collect stays with us and will never be given, rented or sold to a third party.

IS MY PASSWORD SAFE?

All passwords are stored “encrypted” and it is impossible to decrypt them.
So they are safe.

WHAT ABOUT MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER?

For credit card payments, we work with Monetico du CIC to ensure that your data is protected.
Your order is processed through a secure payment gateway which, like our entire site, uses the HTTPS protocol.
This means that your bank details are protected and encrypted, and at no time do we store or have access to your credit card number.

WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO YOU COLLECT ABOUT ME?

Order

When you create a customer account on our website, we store in our systems all the information necessary to place an order: your email, your first and last name, your postal address and your telephone number in order to be able to prepare and deliver your package.

This order data is only transmitted to our transport provider, who works to ensure that the package reaches your home.

The latter has absolutely no right to use your data for anything other than to process your order and must delete this data from its IT system after processing.
This service provider stores data in data centers in Europe.

However, if you choose to have your order delivered outside of Europe, your data such as your postal address will necessarily be transmitted to the logistics services of the carrier that will deliver to you in that country.

HOW LONG IS MY DATA KEPT?

Your data is kept for the time it takes to achieve the purpose for which it was collected, in compliance with the deadlines imposed by the regulations in force.
Thus, the data collected for prospecting purposes may be kept for a maximum period of 3 years from the closure of your account.

Your data is deleted when the retention periods expire.
However, they may be archived beyond the prescribed periods to provide for the purposes of research, detection and prosecution of criminal offences.
This archiving is done for the sole purpose of making your data available to the judicial authority.
