Lanterning
Maison Alcée carries out a lantern display for each of its timepieces.
It is a meticulous process in which our watch experts ensure that each timepiece achieves an absolute level of precision.
First of all, our experts assemble the clock to ensure that it works properly while checking that it is free of any defects, scratches or impacts that may have occurred during the various preliminary checks.
Once the assembly has been checked, our experts set the timepiece on time and set the delay advance precisely. Then, measurements of the amplitude, proper operation and adjustment of the regulator are carried out. This is why, for 7 days, the timepiece is placed in a vertical position, and then for another 7 days in a horizontal position.
If a defective or underperforming component is detected, our watch experts replace it immediately, ensuring that every clock that leaves our workshop is in an optimal state of performance and longevity.
After all these steps of attention, your timepiece is delicately dismantled to be placed in a case veneered with noble wood.
